"Gann Fans on Latest Pivots" Tool

The “Gann Fans on Latest Pivots” Tool is a single mouse click Optuma Custom Tool that automatically adds Gann Fans to the most recent significant High and Low Pivots (turning points) prior to the Evaluation Period…, Period End Date, the default being the Last Bar Date on the chart.

The significance of the Pivots (turning points), ie the number of Bars between Period End Date and the nearest High and/or Low Pivot, can be set by the user, as can the Period End Date of the Evaluation Period.

The Fan’s Price Factor is determined from the Period End Date price allowing automatic adjustment as the user cycles through a watchlist with markets having large price variations. Along with 1x1 Fans, 1x2 and 2x1 Fans can be displayed.

 The “Gann Fans on Latest Pivots” tool kit comprises 2 files within the ZIP file: “Gann Fans on Latest Pivots.zip”. They are:
• Gann Fans on Latest Pivots.ost
• Gann Fans on Latest Pivots - User Instructions, Ed 20220826.pdf 

  The “Gann Fans on Latest Pivots” Tool is delivered in a ZIP file and needs to be extracted before attempting to use it. Tool installation instructions are included in the “Gann Fans on Latest Pivots – User Instructions” accompanying the tool.

The tool must be extracted from the ZIP file and placed in “[Username]/Documents/Optuma/Local/Custom Tools” folder. 

Optuma must be restarted to make to tool available.

 The “Gann Fans on Latest Pivots” Tool Kit will be sent to you by email within 2 business days of receipt of your payment of Tool AUS$40.00 and, most importantly, receipt of your Optuma Client ID (not the Username) which can be found in the Optuma "Help > About" dialogue.
