Why Collate US Rubber Historical Data?
W D Gann discussed many markets that are hard to study without complete chart data to enable seeing his descriptions in context. His discussion of US Rubber in his book “The Truth of the Stock Tape” published in 1923/1924 included a monthly chart, but daily charts provide a better basis upon which to study Gann's teaching.
This prompted the Auld Tyma to go on a search for the United States Rubber Corporation market data. This meant searching back through the financial pages of the New York Times and Wall Street Journal newspaper through the period 1914 to 1922.
Thus was created the market data history of US Rubber for the period of Gann's lesson in Chapter XV of "The Truth of the Stock Tape"
