Optuma (by Market Analyst) is a powerful program for analysing charts of stocks, indices, commodities and foreign exchange.
Optuma provides the additional functionality through its powerful Scripting language available to all Optuma users. Scripts are frequently used to identify signals and knowing the total number of signals appearing on a chart can be valuable additional information, but having to count them can be a time consuming and boring exercise. Scripts that provide calculated results come to the Optuma user's rescue, and with the CHART ELEMENTS tool, provide the results on the chart, as can be seen in the accompanying image.
The process for applying CHART ELEMENTS to Charts is not entirely intuitive, so the Auld Tyma has prepared a brief note to assist those not familiar with the process.
The "Adding Script CHART ELEMENTS to a Chart" note is a PDF file that can be viewed and downloaded from the link below.
